What exactly does the monthly price cover?
Everything your site needs to stay online and up to date, in one payment with no surprise bills:

- Minor updates — new photos, updated hours, text tweaks (one a month on Starter; unlimited on Standard and Growth)

Plans run from $50/month for the one-page Starter up to $150/month for Growth — and every plan is 20% cheaper when you pay 12 months upfront. A full independent mailbox is an optional $20/month add-on on Starter and Standard, and included on Growth.
Can I switch plans later?
Moving up is easy, any time. Starter and Standard share the same $499 build, so switching between them is just a change to your monthly price — nothing more to pay upfront. Stepping up to Growth is quoted as the difference in build work, never a full rebuild. Start small and grow when the business is ready.
Moving down works a little differently, and it's worth understanding why. Your one-time build fee pays for the site itself — every page and feature I build is yours to keep for good. Your monthly plan covers the ongoing side: hosting, security, backups, your update allowance and business email. So the plan is matched to the size and upkeep of your site, not a feature switch you flick off. You can drop down to any plan your site comfortably fits within — but a twelve-page site with a booking system won't sit on the one-page Starter plan, and moving down means the ongoing extras that come with the bigger plans (like priority updates or an included mailbox) step back too. Not sure what fits? Just ask — I'll always point you to the honest option, not the dearest one.
Do I own my website and domain?
Yes — completely. Once the build fee is paid, the website is yours. I handle your domain's setup and renewal as part of your plan — already have one? I'll simply connect it; need a new one? I'll register it for you. If you ever want to leave, I'll transfer everything over quickly and without hassle. No hostage-taking, ever.
How long does it take to launch?
Most sites go live within 7–14 days of our first chat, depending on how quickly we can gather your content (photos, text, logo). If you have a deadline — a launch, an event, a season — tell me and I'll work to it.
What if I want changes after launch?
Just email me — changes come in two sizes:
- Minor updates are the everyday tweaks: a new photo, menu or price changes, updated opening hours, a paragraph reworded. These are included in your plan — one a month on Starter, unlimited on Standard, and unlimited with next-business-day priority on Growth.
- Major updates are bigger jobs: a whole new page, a new section, a gallery or a booking form. These are quoted up front at a fair flat rate before any work starts — never by the hour. On Growth, one major update each quarter is included free.
Not sure which yours is? Just ask — if it takes me under half an hour, it's minor.
Can you build e-commerce / online stores?
Not at the moment — right now I focus on professional marketing websites that bring small businesses customers, calls and bookings. Need to take payment for a handful of items? Ask — often the Growth plan plus a simple payment link does the job. If a full online store is what you need, get in touch and I'm happy to point you in the right direction.
